1-ST MEETING IN VIALONGA, PORTUGAL, 15. - 19.11.2010

Meeting goal: planning the future activities and next meetings. Next meetings will be:
1. 7. - 11.02.2011 in Võnnu, Estonia. Accepting 3 students from each of visiting schools, altogether 12 foreign students.
2. 2. - 6.05.2011 in Italy, accepting up to 5 students from each of visiting schools. The dates may be rescheduled due to Portugal partners (will let others know).
3. 26. - 30.09.2011 in Latvia, up to 4 students from each school.
4. 5. - 9.03.2012 in Spain, up to 4 students from each school.
5. 2. - 6.07.2012 in Portugal, students will have accomodation in youth hostels.

EXPECTED RESULTS AND OUTCOMES, RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Creation of website - Portugal - http://mcp20102012.blogspot.com.
2.Created project repertoire with 5 national folk songs in national languages uploaded onto website - one song from each country, everybody`s responsibility.
3.Creation of Friendship dictionary with 100 words and phrases in 5 languages - everybody. Latvia puts together ans starts with the dictionary.
4.Created brochure with all partners`music-cultural portraits - Latvia.
5.Two calendars with photos from the project activities for years 2011 and 2012 - Portugal.
6.CD-album with the project repertoire with partners? national folk songs - Italy.
7.One project anthem of Friendship chisen by the contest between all partners - we do it all together, but Spain starts.
8.CD recording - all the students sing during meeting in Spain, March 2012.
9.Created video clip for the project anthem of Friendship - Portugal.
10.Published culture guide for all partner countries - Estonia, layout will be decided before.
11.Concert during the partners`meetings, students will prepare the songs for each meeting + anthem (Portugal and Spain can provide school orchestra during meeting there).
12.Grand partners concert in Portugal.
13.DVD album with all the project concerts and activities - Portugal.
14.Creation of brochure with texts and notes of all project partners`songs - Spain.

NEXT MEETING IN VÕNNU, WHAT TO DO BEFORE

1.Book the tickets to Tallinn or Tartu - teachers+ 3 students from each coutry
2.Each country writes a musical portrait - national folk songs pf their country/region
3.dictionary by Latvia - in English and Latvian, other countries will then add their language

Arrival and settlement in Hotel Roma (Lisbon Airport – Hotel Roma transport will be provided by us).

16.NOV’10

10:00 | Meeting in the Hotel Roma (trip to the school – public transports | train 2,60€ - return ticket + metro 1,60€ - return ticket + bus 1,90€ return ticket);

11:00 | Arrival at school, in Vialonga;

11:15 | Meeting with our Director Armandina Soares;

11:30 | Meeting with some students involved in the MCP project; Musical presentations by the school orchestra and some work developed by the music teachers; individual school presentations (powerpoint presentations of national music culture portrait and friendship dictionary with 100 words);

13:00 | Lunch at school;

14:00 | Tour around the school; small Portuguese language course with the Portuguese students;

14:30 | Walk on the school surroundings;

15:00 | Planning the future activities and tasks: updating the application form - meetings;

17:00 | Return to the hotel;

18:00 | Arrival at the hotel.

Free time to have dinner in Lisbon (between 5€ and 10€, fast food – between 10€ and 20€, regular restaurant).

09:30 | Meeting in the hotel;

10:00 | Tour in Lisbon, part #1 (need to buy daily ticket for all urban transports – 3,70€);

12.30 | Free time to lunch in Lisbon downtown -  (quick shopping is possible);

10:15 | Planning the future activities and tasks: updating the application form – tasks (project site, local activities, global activities, partnership organisation);

12:30 | Lunch at school

14:00 | Planning the future activities and tasks: updating the application form – objectives of each meeting and finals results);

16:30 | Return to Lisbon – free time for final shopping until dinner;
