We are very much expecting to see You very soon. Now some important information regarding the climate here and concert:
1. Concert-- the organisers have counted on that there will be a small, minimum 5 minute performance from every country. Please don't tell that your students are shy, Estonian students are the shiest ever. Just something very little would do, you can think of it on the way here even and it's clear that you all have talented music teachers:)
2. Clothes--- think LAYERS and SKIING HOLIDAY in Norway:). The forecast says it's +3....-8 degrees, but with a harsh wind it can be quite nasty, so dress warm and comfy! Warm boots, maybe hiking boots or other plus wool-socks, warm jackets preferably with a hood+warm hat, warm mittens, scarves, fleece jackets under the jacket. We often wear warm stockings under jeans, so you get the point. The idea is to feel good. Believe me, it is possible. They don't say there is no bad weather, just bad clothing for nothing. For the children---the plan is to build snow sculptures on Thursday and go skiing if the weather allows, so you may need spare warm clothes if the ones on will become wet. The schoolhouse can also be quite chilly and you will be spending some time there, too.
3.Hotel for teachers „Tartu” single 31EUR/night, triple 60EUR/night
How to get from Tallin to Tartu I will send you tomorrow!
See you soon!
